IRSC ADN Spring 2013

U.S.A. Florida

Published

hi everybody!

it may be a bit early to start a thread for a program starting in spring of 2013, but i'm so excited and thought why not! anyways, i was enrolled in the adn program at irsc this past spring, but due to medical reasons, i decided to leave the program. now that i'm getting healthier i decided to get my cna license this fall and re-apply to the adnnursing program that starts spring 2013.

i learned a lot about irsc's nursing program, as well as the nln exam, so if you have any questions feel free to leave a comment because i would love to help out!

good luck to all of you!

~jessica

great score...all the best to u..

"All applicants will be notified of their status approximately six to eight weeks after the

deadline date." -ADN Admission Booklet

so on irsc website andthe points accumulation what does the nln score convert to for the points irsc awards? like a 100 will be awarded? or 200 on nln what does that equal? I have read mixed reviews. good luck all

I think it is the score u get on the NLN. so if ur score was 100, 100 will be added to the score from your grades

I'M NERVOUS NOW!

The points from your courses in microbiology, natural science, etc. are added to your composite score on the NLN exam. I got a 123 composite + 115 course points, so I'm at 238 points total out of a maximum 320. My guidance counselor told me I needed, at the least, a 100 composite score and mostly A's in my main courses to be considered into the nursing program

Mariahrose I wish you all the best...if it is any consolation I am super nervous too....

Thanks boobear0299...I wish you all the best too

Hi! I took mine yesterday and got a 129. My grades are alright but I am definately not an A student which has me worried. My total points is 213 and from what I hear, it depends on where we fall among all the other applicants. There are some pretty smart people out there so it's scary. I've been working as a tech at the hospital for four years now and am so ready to start nursing school!!! Good luck!

Likewise, hope we can all get in this semester! Good luck ladies! Hope it isn't as competitive as last year... :nono:

Mariahrose, we have all worked hard and we probably scored a decent grade but it is soooooo competitive. I have every hope that we get the chance to follow our dreams. All the best to you ladies!:saint:

Any other LPN's out there applying? Post as soon as anyone hears a word in the mail!!!
