Iphone or Samsung Galaxy??

So I've owned the IPhone's since they first came out. I now have the 4S and while I love the IPhone, it irritates me that they put out new phones with only making a couple changes per version. I also own a MacBook which I love, but I'm considering switching. I don't want to lose the comparability between my laptop and my phone, but I'm ready for something's new and keep hearing great things about the Galaxy. So if you've owned both which one did you like better?

iPhone is better by far! I've had both and wouldn't go back to a Galaxy. The phone works better, the apps are better, and I just feel overall it is a better phone.

If you have the 4S, DON'T buy the iPhone 5! I was so disappointed in the phone that I'm 95% sure I'm going to be switching to another smart phone when I upgrade again. There is so few changes to it that it isn't even worth it! You already have Siri, so really all you would be getting would be an extra row of icons and a slightly slimmer phone.

I love my Galaxy S4. Makes the iphone look like a children's toy :cat: I've had tons of Samsung products....and I've always found them to be superior to all of my apple products.

Can you use OneNote on the Galaxy do you know? I know you can't on the IPhone.

The whole it pauses apps when you look away would drive me nuts and I'd have to turn it off. I will play Netflix when I go to bed or when I study so no, I am not watching the movie but I am listening to it. Also waving your hand to answer? Could it be mistaken for me trying to clumsily reach for the phone? The back to back looks cool but then I'd have to have someone with the same phone and does it work through cases?

I personally like my iPhone. It fits in my pocket with an otterbox with the exception of one pair of shorts.

OneNote is free from Microsoft on the app store. All of the eye scrolling features and hand waving gesture features can be turned on and off selectively, so no need to worry about that if you don't want it. Also, I am constantly on my phone (streaming Spotify, Micromedex, facebook, whatever) and my phone usually lasts 18-24 hours. I love it!

My husband got now wishes he had my galaxy s4 instead of his iphone. I have zero issues with this phone and find that it is faster in every way when compared to my husbands iphone. I love it it does everything I need, I am easily able to access my textbooks through the apps needed as well. My only gripe is I wish I would have waited until I knew they were putting out the s4 active before I upgraded lol! Ive dropped my phone in eggs, toilets, dog bowls..... it would hav e been nice to have that.

Good day:

I have a Galaxy S3; and it works well. I got it earlier in the year before I knew what school I would be going to.

The school I use offers free iTunes educational resources. I can play these videos and audio files on my Windows PC... but not on my Android-based phone. So from that perspective, I should have gotten an iPhone 4s

Thank you.

I had an iphone 4 before I switched to my galaxy note 2. I started hating my iphone and at one point, I entertained the thought of not even having a phone. I love my galaxy so much more because I can do so many more things.

I love speaking my texts, well, speaking everything really lol. I love swype (dragging a trail to the letters instead of hitting them one by one). I love being able to download my PowerPoints from school lectures and opening them in Adobe (it does it automatically) and adding notes, highlighting, underlining, etc. digitally instead of printing them out. I can access them offline so I can study anywhere. I love it. Never lose my study material. I'm getting high As in my SCIENCES!

I LOVE THE BIG SCREEN! It completely dwarfs the iphones. They look like toys next to my phone. Soo many people tell me my phone is huge lol like I don't already know that. But you know what, it really doesn't seem that big anymore to me. It is perfectly sized. I'm a girl, too, so I keep it in my purse and not worry about it trying to fit in girl pockets. Front girl pockets are as deep as my thumb.

I like how the screen won't dim if it detects my eye looking at it. It's not perfect in the dark, but the screen lights up my face so it can then still see my eyes.

I don't regret my decision to leave the iphone even if it's more portable. My iphone fell out of my back pocket, down a cliff (ugh, just my luck), and obviously shattered. Spent $110 fixing it up (hmu if any of you want it! Seriously. It is actually in great condition, had a case on it most of the time except for when it fell down the cliff, of course, there's my good luck showing through again).

Does anyone have any tips for keeping the galaxy s2 battery alive longer? Mine dies out before the day is over :-(

This sometimes makes me want to go back to iphone. But only sometimes since my charger is always with me.
