How about a thread that will allow us to introduce ourselves to those who are new and the new students can do the same.
I am Stephany, 42, mother of 3 children, a son 22, a daughter 15, and a son 13. I am an LPN of nearly 11 years, and I am in my first semester of a five-semester rn program.
Care to share?

Hi all
My name is Julie and I just turned 37 last week. I am married to a wonderful man and we have 4 very active little boys 6,5,4,2 :chuckle Last year I decided I wanted to go for my RN (I have a BS in an unrelated field) so I got my sciences out of the way and started with the local Nursing College's part time evening / weekend program in August. I am LOVING it. I grab study time when I can and so far so good
I am glad I found this sight it is now bookmarked.
Thanks ...

Hi--
I'm Melanie, 27 y.o. I just started my pre-reqs this month, hoping to start a BSN program next fall. I just had my first A&P lab practical last night!! It was soooo stressful, but I'm glad it's out of the way. I already have a BS degree in a science field, so luckily I don't have to take too many classes to get start the program.
...I hope I'm posting this message correctly...this is my first post...
