Introductions:"New" and "Old" Students.

How about a thread that will allow us to introduce ourselves to those who are new and the new students can do the same.

I am Stephany, 42, mother of 3 children, a son 22, a daughter 15, and a son 13. I am an LPN of nearly 11 years, and I am in my first semester of a five-semester rn program.

hi everyone--i am 34 and a mother of three (4 if u count my husband lol) their ages are 12, 5, and 2. i am currently in the LPN program and won't get into the ADN until fall of 2004. i work in a small town hospital which i enjoy very much.

Hi !!! I am a 28 yr old mother of 2, ages 2 and 6, and in my 2nd year of pre-reqs for my BSN program I work full time and go to school pretty much full time. Look forward to getting to know everyone.

Hi to all,

I am a new student this quarter. I'm taking my prereqs to get into a new LPN program that's being offered. There are only 25 spots in the program and so the competition is fierce and catty.

I've learned not to believe everything I hear from other students. Less stress that way:) I am loving my classes and so far am doing very well in all of them. I am hoping if accepted into the LPN

program to hopefully complete that and go on for my RN ADN & BSN. That's all a ways off & at this point I'm focusing just on the task at hand. Thanks for reading & I look forward to chatting.

I'm 28 and have one child (my hubby of 6 years who I swear will never grow up...but i wouldn't change that for the world b/c he keeps me young) and a dog that keep me busy.

I'm in a four semester ADN program. I have big plans....After I graduate and pass the boards I want to immediatly start working towards my BSN and then hopefully towards being a nurse anesthetist, but that's forever away.

I'm just so glad there's a site like this out there!

I'm terrified. I've become an insomniac over the last few weeks. Can't imagine what it's going to be like once I actually start the "real deal".

Hi everybody!!! I'm Valerie,46, mom to to boys-23 and 19(special needs).Graduated LPN school in 98(2 weeks after my oldest graduated high school) and working all the time!!!!!! Dreamed of being a nurse all my life and do not regret it-----yet(LOL)!!!!!!
