How about a thread that will allow us to introduce ourselves to those who are new and the new students can do the same.

I am Stephany, 42, mother of 3 children, a son 22, a daughter 15, and a son 13. I am an LPN of nearly 11 years, and I am in my first semester of a five-semester rn program.

Care to share?

Hi! My name is Jen, I'm 22 and I'm in my fourth year of a BSN program. I am looking forward to June 13th of this year. It is hard to believe it is almost over. I am leaning towards women and infants after graduation. I have a student position on a postpartum unit for a year now. This quarter I am taking high acuity nursing, I will be in labor and delivery. I am very excited. Also I am taking economics, not excited at all. It was nice reading about all of you and your journey through nursing school.

Hi, my name is Brandi. I am in my last semester of an ADN program! This is my first time on this site and I LOVE it!! You guys are all great. It is nice to hear encouraging words since as you know in nursing school we get pretty stressed! Thanks!!

Hi! I'm in the second semester of a 4 semester ADN program - will graduate May 2004. Hopefully after that, I'm going to work and do the one day a week school thing to get my BSN and would love to go on to get my MSN/Nurse Pracitioner...we'll see about all that, though - gotta survive three more semesters first!
