How about a thread that will allow us to introduce ourselves to those who are new and the new students can do the same.
I am Stephany, 42, mother of 3 children, a son 22, a daughter 15, and a son 13. I am an LPN of nearly 11 years, and I am in my first semester of a five-semester rn program.
Care to share?
Hi All!!
My name is Brandi. I have been hanging out here for a little while now but have not formally introduced myself.
I have one more semester of nursing school to go. YEAH!
I am so excited..been in college way to long and ready to graduate and take a break......atleast before I go back for my MSN.
I am not married, have no kids, not even a pet...but thats ok, I don't have much time for that right now. Of course after I start working, I would eventually love to start a family.
I do work part-time here in AL, so I can pay bills....But I hope to work in L&D when I graduate.
Nice to meet everyone, hope to talk with you soon.
Brandi
Hi everyone,
I have been reading these boards for a while, but have just recently started posting. I am 24 years old, have a bachelors in nutrition, and am in my third semester of an accelerated second degree program in philly. Thankfully I will be graduating in May and I am trying to decide where I want to work. It is really interesting to talk with other students, especially when I am frustrated and need a break (which is pretty much all of the time!!!) It was nice to meet all of you.:)

Hi everyone! I found the board while looking for scrubs online :) and while I didn't find the clothing, it looks like a great place to hang out!
I'm 37 this Dec. 18 and will start my last year in the RN program this spring (woohoo!).
No kids, but have a supportive girlfriend, 2 dogs and a cat.
I had the rare chance to sample the local health-care industry (thanks to my bike being sideswiped by a drunk in a car). Both rider and motorcycle have recovered. I learned that in healthcare, it is FAR better to give than to receive.
Take care
