  1. Thanks for your response :)
  2. Hello! Anyone know what I can expect to be offered for and hourly pay as a Registered MA? I have experience in doctors office/ hospital, but recent grad as an MA. Job would be in a OB/GYN office in Massachusetts Have an interview tomorrow and just wanted to know what a good offer would be? Any help or advice would be appreciated! Thanks! Steph
  3. Same to you Lizbee.. someday we'll all get there!
  4. Congrats to you! Best wishes!
  5. Hi, I have not looked into those two, But previously looked into Quincy and Massasoit and many others. My big problem was that they only take science courses for 5-7 years. I just found out that UMB (and a few others) take them up to 10 years. I believe that it's 10 yrs this year from my first A&P. So that's why I had hoped to get in so I didn't have to start all over. Thanks for your help though! Oh and I only have an Associates in another field, so I am not able to do most accelerated programs
  6. Got my rejection letter today. so bummed... last chance to get in before my sciences expire. Looks like I have a long(er) road before getting my RN.
  7. Got my rejection letter today I am so bummed. It was my last chance to get in before my sciences expire.
  8. That's awesome! Congrats to you!!! Still waiting and kind of loosing hope!
  9. Don't know exact numbers but I think it's a HUGE difference! Are you a transfer or new grad?
  10. I applied for traditional BSN also.... still waiting!! I am nervous too!
  11. Hi... I do not have a bachelors.. only an associates degree. And have also completed pre-req sciences. So I will call to get the transfer info... but still helped to get some of the info!
  12. Thank you so much! I don't know how I missed all this! I was told by everyone that sciences expire after 7 yrs.. some schools 5.... and I stopped searching and was about to do my sciences over this past sept 2011. but I waited because I was due with my 3rd baby. Then found out UMASS Bos takes them for 10yrs. 2012 is ten yrs so if I don't get it I am scared! Good to know about Curry... pretty local to me and sounds like a good program. Do you know how long BNS takes for a transfer student? (already have associates and also completed SCIENCE courses A&P 1 & 2 class and lab, and college chem & lab.
  13. Thank you!! Do you know how long they accept science courses for?
  14. I also applied and got the "in the pool" letter. Now after reading some threads..I am scared I ill not get in. It's my last yr before my science courses expire... so I would be so sad!
