Any one get interview letters yet? I got two letters from U of Minnesota-VA and U of Buffalo.
Dr. Hartland told me that they (VCU) are pretty quick to notify. It should be any day now!! I have my fingers crossed for you guys. The VCU program looked really good when I toured the school in July. Plus I went to NP school right next door.
As far as my interview went, they asked me no clinical questions. Although the girl after me got some ABG questions. I guess my grad school 4.0 and 9 ICU years carried me...especially since I got real nervous and had diarrhea mouth during the interview! I am really cool during codes/clinical situations, but sitting in a room full of unfriendly faces who will decide the course of the rest of your working life is a real grinder....
Oh yeah, I am in San Antone...will be sucking up some out-of-state fees for a year. After I went to the trouble of making myself a VA resident and paying $1000 in taxes June-Oct. too
I interviewed at Bradley a few years ago. Very intense interview with a large panel of people from the program, MD director, and faculty from the school of nursing. Very nice people, just intimidating. There is a test of your clinical knowledge as well. Good luck! I got accepted and decided not go to there, if I can get accepted you probably can too!!
Im new to this site.. I just thought I would tell everyone that i interview Bradley/Decatur memorials program Nov 17th. Anyone have any helpful tips for me?
I had my interview on November 18th and I thought for sure it went bad. On the 24th, I got a letter in the mail. I was affraid to open it up for fear that I would see SORRY, but instead, I saw CONGRATULATIONS! All I have to say is that even if everything looks bad, it still might turn out for the good. Don't give up hope!
