Invest in an interview outfit. Not being negative, but you might need to wear it a few times. I agree with other posters. Dress pants and blouse is nice or a dress suit. You want to "WOW" them on your interview. You can even try Marshalls or TJ Maxx they're not too expensive. All the best to you.
Just wanted to say, my super awesome husband went out at 1:00 in the morning and bought me a pair of dress slacks and a button down top! From Walmart of all places! He saved the day and had me looking spiffy for my interview!
It's so refreshing to hear of supportive spouses and friends
it also says a lot about you

I got an interview at one of the two hospitals in my area, yay!!! I was initially fairly satisfied with the outfit that I chose, but thanks to some outside opinions I am really second guessing my choice and am now kind of freaking out! First of all let me say my wardrobe is made up of scrubs, jeans, casual tops, sundresses, and a few fairly "dressy" dresses. I haven't worn a pair of dress slacks in about 8 years! So I planned on wearing a black/grey striped sweater dress, which would be great on it's own except it's a little on the short side. Every time I've worn this dress I've paired it with black leggings either Capri length or ankle length. Worn this outfit to weddings and got lots of compliments. I was going to wear leggings and black flats. My best friend said it's not an appropriate outfit and I need to rush out and buy a new outfit!! I don't have the finances to go buy a new outfit! Would a pair of black tights be a better choice? Am I doomed?!
Thanks
