I was accepted a few years ago and ended up going to a different school closer to home. Since I was in a different city, I was interviewed via Skype, which was very helpful. Had I not been accepted to different programs, I may have considered going in person to get some facetime with the staff. Interview was very laid back. 3 or 4 people. Just asking questions to get to know me, my experience, why CRNA school, why now, support systems, etc etc. Pretty standard questions. This was in 2014, so things may have changed. Hopefully someone that's interviewed more recently can give you a better insight. Good luck!
Ready for this? my undergrad GPA sucks! I did poorly freshman and sophomore year. I had to repeat chemistry after getting a D, C- in statistics. I even failed one of my nursing courses (by 1 point), I have never been the smartest person in class, but I have always worked my hardest! Literally given it my all!! I bust my ass to boost my GPA to a 3.6, took a few Grad course. Most importantly I sold my professional development and community involvement. I have been in critical care for 5 years , CCRN and many committees. Trust me they called me out on my less than vibrant transcripts but I'm resilient and hard working and I let them see it. BTW I'm a mom and they know it. Despite all that I'm in!! There hope for everyone if u are willing to work for it!!!
Lzbrn 20 Thank you for sharing and Congratulation on getting accepted! Your story is very inspirational! I'm trying to complete the application right now.. awaiting transcript arrival and two references to complete the evaluation. For some reason, two of my references did not receive the email for the evaluation. I might have to ask them for an alternative email. I'm trying to complete the application ASAP as I know admission is on a rolling basis. If you don't ming sharing a bit more...How long after you submitted the application before hearing back for an interview. I would love to know more about the interview process. I am from out of state and would like to know if it is on-campus interview or Skype. Thank you so much for your time.
Thanks! No problem! Just FYI I started my application in October right after attending there open house. But my evaluations weren't going through. Here I thought my manager was avoiding it , but I spelled her name wrong. So just check your spelling it can be something simple. Once I corrected that my application was completed by thanksgiving week and I heard from them Jan 2. And had my interview a few weeks later and got my decision response the next day.

Lzbrn20,
I've been contacted for an interview. Can you tell me what I should prepare for? I plan to study clinical materials and standard interview questions.
Thanks

Hi everyone I'm pretty new to the site and was looking for advice or helpful hints. I have an interview coming up for Thomas Jefferson Nurse Anesthetist Program, incoming class for fall 2017. Anyone else interview here recently for CRNA? Anyone accepted? Is there a Test? Thanks in advance.
