Hey everyone! I have an interview next week for my top choice nursing school and I'm starting to think about interview questions. I read from posters last year that they ask a "what's the most difficult/challenging think you've been through/had to deal with" question.
Here's the thing - I'm incredibly lucky that I've never really had a big challenge or difficult life event. Having to have a c-section with my son probably tops the list, but that's part of why I want to become a nurse so I'll be talking about that on another question (since I'm sure they'll ask why I want to become a nurse). My husband suggested I talk about how I trained to run a half marathon last month despite having a foot injury, but I'm not sure if that's the type of thing they want to hear.
Any suggestions or thoughts? Thanks in advance :)

Why wouldn't they want to hear about that?
I guess it just seems so trivial compared to what I've seen other people say was their response. I'm probably just over thinking this, but I guess it's hard not to.
Life learning moment is just that. I'd say not. A bD way tk go

I think that would be a good thing to talk about. It shows that you try to meet your goals and have persistence, which is required in nursing school!

i rather hear about the marathon than the c section. Not many people run a marathon, so its pretty remarkable with a foot injury.

Honestly? I would be tempted to "embellish" a story about a past experience with a coworker, or something mildly related to the healthcare field. like, maybe you recall a time you were working with another nursing student and had to resolve an ethical issue regarding patient care? or maybe you could talk about the very difficult hurdles you have to come over come in order to get to nursing school?
