That's def a tough situation. You're right it is hard to find a job as a new grad, especially since the application always says "at least one year". I would stay and continue to work for as long as you can, at least 2 more months so it can be 6 month of experience. These days you gotta do what you gotta do. Good luck

YES, do 6 and 7...they were the most helpful and very similar to my nclex..I took my nclex in January and passed

It doesn't hurt to call, but if their announcement prefers you to have your License, then I would wait.

I called my local recruiter who was very kind, he said he couldn't take me because I have no experience in nursing. I just graduated.

I say to try as much as you can, once you get rejected then you should move on. You never know until you try. I know many people are trying to get into nursing school which only makes it harder.

I'm almost graduating from there...the school has all its accreditation (NLNAC, CCNE, WASC) which is a big relief for me. I personally like how the school is growing. Students opinions and voices are heard. If you are a good student you'll do fine. The school does not tolerate cheating or excuses....what school does!!!

congrats...it took two months from the day I applied to my first day of orientation. I was told my application was expedited. I was only asked 4 pbi questions....I was so nervous the day before but you really have to relax. I usually start of with a joke to calm myself down.

Congrats!! As a single mom, my son was 18months during nursing school. My number one advice, gather all your babysitting resource. Each semester our scheduled changed and my school threw so many last minute thing including night shift clinicals. Depending on your study habits, you might need a babysitter so you can study well. Figuring out who was going to watch my son was my number one stress. I had to put emergency funds for a babysitter in my savings. If you have family, friends, and spouse who can help, let them know now if they are willing to help...kinda like a checklist on who to call.

1) Dont choose pre-nursing...to risky. 2) Getting a RN job as a new grad is challenging...so choose a location that has a need for nursing that will take you as a New Grad

Many people are applying to nursing school. My rule of thumb, apply to more than one school if you can. So yes, apply to TWU. I know the money thing can be scary, but there are loans. I did the MSN program and it cost me 60K !!! The biggest debt I ever had before that was $100!! Its okay, once I started working I was making more than that in a year.

it doesnt hurt to try...but so many people are applying to nursing school, so your GPA might be on the lower end. Check to see if the school have a GPA requirement. I hope I'm wrong. Good luck

im a believer of the pearson trick. I did it and all of my classmate did it. There was one girl who really failed and when she did the trick, it took her to the credit card page. Relax!!!
