So I got the call today for my first professional nursing interview (student still, graduating in May). Turns out both the heart/vascular unit and the joint/spine unit have openings and they want to interview me in two weeks.
I have experience on ortho, med/surg, and pcu from my clinicals, but I'm just trying to figure out what I should refresh on before I go into the interview. I pulled out all my ekg and rhythm notes so I could start nailing it back down, but I'm open to advice + general interview tips.
Also, I've got a short, trimmed beard/mustache and I'm debating shaving it or not. I like it, but I also grow it because patients seemed to think I'm older and therefore aren't as skittish around me/trust me more. It was hard enough being a guy on L&D without it, and better after I had it. Should I go clean or keep it and explain my reasoning?
