I have an interview for an urgent care position at the local hospital what should I wear I have lots of nice suits but I think that is a little too formal. I have lots of nice shirts with and without collars, or just wear some black scrubs? This is for a pt/prn position so I will have to see if they will work with my hospice schedule. Thanks
So how did it go? And what did you wear? (Was that girlie enough for ya? :icon_cheesygrin:)
Oh My God I wore these beautiful Khaki slacks with a gorgeous blue dress shirt no tie. lol
No it went good I got the job offered they said they have to do some calculations to see what my pay will be and get with me on monday.
i'm glad it went well.
congratulations!
that said, if i ever wore a suit to an interview, i would be stifled and suffocating, and am sure that would show through in the interview.
meticulous grooming is a must.
but i think one should wear what reflects their personal style best.
if you're comfortable dressing formal, then yes, wear a suit.
if you're more casual, your 'style' should reflect who you are.
this way, you will feel and be your personal best in the interview.
khakis and a gorgeous blue shirt, sound lovely.
(presuming both were cleaned and ironed. :)

My husband always wears dress shoes/slacks/shirt w/tie but not jacket. Looks nice, it's a little more than casual, but not too much. Just make sure it all fits right and isn't rumpled. My bro-in-law dresses up for church but looks like he just rolled out of bed (also wears tube socks with dress shoes, ugh).
Guys look so much better in dress pants than in jeans. (maybe I'm just old-fashioned)
