Hi all,
I am graduating this May, and I have just received word that I will have an interview at Duke University Hospital next week. I was wondering if anyone had any interview tips for me? This is my very first interview (besides a life guarding job) so I need all the help I can get!
Thanks so much to everyone who replies!
Well I wish that I was told about scrubsI only bought my suit.

If they didn't tell you to wear scrubs, maybe you will not be shadowing a nurse and will not need them.
They sent an email with the information on wear to go, what time to be there and what to wear. If yours didn't mention scrubs, don't worry about it then.
Hello everyone!
I interviewed with Duke and have since been offered a position with them. I am so excited to begin my career with them as a new grad. The interview and shadow experience was really nice and laid back and a really great experience. I think that the staff and management worked really well together which was a refreshing find. I'm moving to North Carolina, the Durham area to become a part of the team! I wore scrubs for my interview, because the manager walked me from my shadow experience right into my interview, so there was zero time to change, I guess like CP2013 experienced.

I was interviewed and told to wear scrubs. I walked straight from my shadow experience into the interview room and then out to my car, while another candidate went from interview to shadow experience. There was no time to change in between unless I left someone outside the bathroom waiting for me to change so they could walk me to where I was supposed to go. And I do NOT want to leave anyone waiting for me.
Just wear nice scrubs and shoes and let your interview skills shine. Your wardrobe matters less if they already expect you to be in scrubs. Don't be the candidate that makes them wait so you can change into or out of the suit into scrubs.
