I'm a foreign graduate from the Philippines and took NCLEX last Nove. 19, 2010. I still haven't received my result so I called BRN and told me to resend another set of fingerprint card because the first was rejected. I already sent a new set of fingerprint cards and I just want to know how long will I wait for them to send me my NCLEX result.

They indicate BRN which is California

I'm losing my patience. Time, effort and money are being wasted. This is so inconvenient especially for a foreign graduate nurse. All I do is to keep on waiting for like forever.

Think yourself lucky because now they no longer accept applicants who do not have a SSN.

I have SSN. I'm a permanent resident of USA. It's just that I finish my nursing degree here in the Philippines. I'll be back in USA by February. I'm just waiting for them to process my NCLEX result.

You could just do a fingerprint live scan when you get to the US??? Its in their system in a matter of days. Cali will take a month or two anyway to process your fingerprint cards and get the verified. You can do livescan at any UPS store.

Also with the livescan if one of your prints is rejected they will fix it right then and there. It's more convenient. Good Luck

Hi there! We had the same problem. I'm a foreign grad too. Just took the exam last January 5, 2011 for the state of Cali. Everyday for the past 16 days, I check my name at the Cali BON site. No sign of my name so I was thinking that I already failed. I was waiting for the official results to come since my other friends recieved their results stating that they failed for 10 days. I'm residing here in Florida so I did the manual fingerprinting too. I sent my first fingerprint on September 29, 2010. then I got the fingerprint rejection notice on Nov 1. I immediately sent the second fingerprint on Nov 3. Thinking that I completed all the requirements since I had my ATT and already took the test, only to find out that the second fingerprint I sent was also rejected. Darn it, I mean I was waiting all the time and not only when I called the BON that I knew that the second fingerprint was also rejected. They told me that they sent a notice last december 21 but never got it. Now I'm waiting for the fingerprint clearance before they can mail me my official result which is 1-2 months. The only thing that ease my mind is the Pearson Vue trick. Hope I pass. Too stressful. :heartbeat Update me whenever you have progress. I will really appreciate it.
