Hi, I'm a June 2006 NLE passer, I'm just curious what have you been doing while waiting for the DECISION. Here is a list of what I'm doing.

1. I can go to the mall anytime, I surf the net from time to time, i listen to FEUER audio lectures in the car while driving to refresh my nursing knowledge, I practice NCLEX simulation tests in my computer, I play computer games everynight and I have all the time to watch the whole season of Grey's Anatomy.

How about you? Are you working? Where and how's life after the board exam?

I know Felicci.. I feel the same.. wish we can all move on -_-

Specializes in Medical-Surgical.
i just finished with all the papers needed for calif application....other than that...a bum....hehe,,,, pips, just wanna ask, will i have to wait for my license before i mail all the requirements or can i just write an explanation letter and mail my requirements asap?? calif application needs a copy of the philippine license..HELP!!!

California doesn't require a philippine license to take the NCLEX. Only if you want to work on an interim permit( temporary license ) then they will require a Philippine license and a passed TOEFL.

ahh... so you mean i may not declare my license and not say that i took the local boards? gosh...i think im gonna submit my application and not wait for my license...swear...hehe...anyway, do i have to get some experience? cuz i am considering a 3 month training in a government hospital here in baguio...

I think you have to write a letter explaining the reason for not having the license yet, since you took the board and passed it. And saying you didn't take the Local Board Exam would be lying. Regarding the experience, it depends upon your employeer, if they require it then u have to train first. But having the experience would be a plus for you.

I have a question about the applicant fingerprint card: what's the abbreviation to use for the box asking for RACE? The abbreviations availabe in the intruction sheets i got was only for Hair and eye color, it doesn't say anything about RACE? Do i put A-for asian? your help would be appreciated!

Thanx!!!:wink2:

hi...once was my problem too...one nbi offcer told me to write the whole word "asian" so thats what i did...
