emmigrating to Australia

I am a 38 year old nursing student, wife and mother of four. I really wish to emmigrate from the UK with my family next year but am very unsure of the route to take. Some advice would indicate that it would be better to make all my own arrangements - job, visas, flights, etc but conflicting advice indicates that it would be much simpler to go through an agency. Victoria is the area in which my famjily and I are most interested, so if any one has been through either process I would be really grateful to here how they did it and how long it took.

Hi congrats on qualifying i am about to start 3rd and final year of training myself in september and so so wish to get out this place in search of sunny climates and happier lifestyles too! Hows the application process going? Does it take long to get visas? do you need work experience prior to applying for visas?

thanks, mat

nurse form philippines, should i take first the board exam here then i also should take the state board exam to be able to register as a nurse there. what should i do to be there the fastest way i can.

yes, definitely you needed to be registered in the philippines before you can apply to the any state board of nursing in australia.

i read nsw path is the fastest but not the cheapest for overseas foreign trained nurses. 6000 AUD for the Migrant Bridging Program in The College of Nursing in Burwood NSW is the fastest. 7 weeks Program.

Good luck
