Interim permit jobs

I just received my interim permit and was wondering where I can find a job that accepts IP until I can get my RN license. Please help!!!

What is an interim permit? Are you licensed in another country? Is it prior to taking the NCLEX?

I am not licensed as an RN yet.. This is before taking the NCLEX.. AND I am in the US

Does your permit say what you are permitted to do? Can you function as an RN or as a CNA? That will make a big difference in what type of job to look for.

I have never heard of an interim permit.

I am able to function as an RN but under supervision until I take the actually nclex exam...

I paid extra $50 and got interim permit before taking NCLEX too...but so far, non of hospitals in CA hire interim permit RN...

Their new grad programs usually say "no interim permit"

I feel like it was waste of money...

I heard that some nursing homes hire interim permit RNs with the promise they will continue working after passing NCLEX.
