inquiry regarding NJ licensing ....

im currently licensed in the state of california, but live in NJ .... i've filed for my license by endorsement here in NJ on the 3rd of last month (feb) and just received my fingerprinting sched. papers, im having prints done this wednesday ....... how long does it usually take from the fingerprinting to the issuance of the actual license?? :yeah:it already took them a month almost to send the fingerprinting sched paperwork ....:banghead:. is nj really that slow in processing paperwork :banghead: :chuckle

Uh, a bit back took me 3 months total..they lost my paperwork twice. I wasn't very impressed and ended up not going to Jersey so it was a huge waste of time and money. Better luck to you.

thanks i was wondering why it took them so look to procewss when it takes other states half the time to process the same amount of paperwork .... sheeesh....:argue:

They weren't exactly the brightest bulbs in the box when I talked to them either. Go figure. They definitely weren't helpful. good luck to you

Unfortunately, NJ doesn't have a stellar reputation for paperwork - even by "bureaucracy standards" :(

you are so lucky! i applied for licensure by endorsement about the same time you did last month, i have called the new jersey board of nursing to ask about the status of my application and i didn't get any favorable reply, i was told it takes about 3-4 weeks to get the finger prints info. i guess i 'll just keep waiting.... that sucks! goodluck with the whole process.

i just received my fingerprint sched last wednesday .. and went ahead and got my prints done .. so i guess im just waiting for the certificate license ... because they already cleared my application check..but it took about 2 months ... :banghead:

they already cashed my application check the day after i had my prints done.... but yet failed to send me info regarding the status of my license .... all my requirements had to be complete else they would not process the check am i correct in saying that??? they're so quick to cash checks but yet give no info on whether or not the status of your application is ok or not what the hell??? :down::banghead:

i am sure your license is being processed since they already took your check; i just wonder how long it will take to get your license after the fingerprints and background check???

thats the BIG question....hehehe if it took them 2 months just to give me my print scheduled ... i wonder how long this will take, hmmmmmm..... another 2 months perhaps?? hahahahaha :yeah::angryfire

heck yeah me too... in total i think i've waited for it for like 2 months.... while i waited like a week for my license in cali ... i got it 2 days after i found out i passed the nclex exam.. how's that for a comparison...:yeah:
