I applied to the NY BON 2-3 weeks ago (mid-April). I graduate at the end of May from a school out of state.
Does NY send a letter or email to let you know if the initial application for licensure has been approved...or at least received? Or will I have to wait until I graduate to simply receive the ATT?
I really just want to know if NY has received my initial application for licensure and if it has been processed....

Generally ATT will not be issued until you graduate and pearsonvue will issue it once the BON states it is OK
Will I hear anything before the ATT from New York? Will they send me a letter or email saying my app initial app has been approved?

Your application cannot be approved until you graduate.
Thanks for the responses!

Caffeinated RN,
I realize this is an old post, but could you please let me know how long it took after you graduated to get your ATT from NY BON? I am also an out-of-state applicant. I am sending my application this week and I graduate July 28th, 2014, which is when my school will send graduation verification. Did you receive the ATT via email or snail mail?
Any advice or unexpected issues during the application process?
Thank you!
