Initative vs. Guilt

HI! My name is Nicky and I am really glad to be here. I would have really made Erikson proud today! I was in day four of my clinical I rotaion and I did what I thought was important vs what was important. I have real gulit now because I didn't take more intiative. I learned a lot though. I learned that nursing is more then paper/homework and is more about on the floor skills. I also learned more about me and how I want to be vs. who I was. I learned that I need to step up and show intageraty and courage. I learned that I am better then who I was today and yesterday. I know this is vauge and you might be thinking what kind of greeting is this? Well its a new me and you all are witnessing a new birth so welcome to my new life and new outlook.

I have 8 months until graduatation and to turn this plan into an action.

One of my instructor had Erickson as an instructor in her yout. (not youth, yout - LOL).

So we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner with Erickson on the brain.

Funny how 13 yrs later I think I'd need a refresher to make any real comments on his work.
