information about nursing bursary please

A very good morning to you ladies and gentlemen,

I'm John, 30yrs, married, From Rep Of Mauritius, holder of international diploma in Information Technology and i've been working as Analyst.

I would like to change career and be train as a nurse and proceed futher on after sometimes, my question is "will i be granted the bursary for mature student will studying nursing in the U.K? and what are all the conditions that applies to it? "

If anyone here could answer me i would be very grateful to him/her.

Hi John, welcome to the site.

As far as your question unless you are a UK citizen I think you will find that you are not eligable for a bursary to train as a nurse in the UK. In fact you may well have to pay quite hefty university fees to train here.

If you look through the UK forum you will find these questions have been answered quiet a few times

most uk nursing couses will only accept nhs students. to be accepted as a nhs student you have to be resident in the UK for 3 years but not as a student.
