Information literacy from penn foster?

Published

Hi I was just wondering if anyone has completed this requirement through penn foster?

If so did you have any problems with excelsior accepting it? If anyone can give me feed-

back i would greatly appreciate it. I need to save on this class atleast, thanks.:nurse:

Check out the distance learning forum for previous posts about this. Excelsior has always accepted this course from PF, but remember that it is no longer such a bargain, because PF now no longer allows enrollment for so few credit hours, or something along those lines. Give them a call to see what they tell you.

i took info lit through penn foster in october. excelsior actually suggested it to me. i had no problems (they were slow to send out the transcript) and it cost alot less. they do not require you to take any other classes. you can take it by itself.

@ cheltoe, thanks did you have to get prior approval from excelsior before taking it?

Cheltoe~when did you ask Penn Foster about this? Over the summer I tried to sign up for just the Info Lit and was told by a Penn Foster rep that I had to be enrolled in at least 3 credits

I think Penn Foster has reversed that policy back to the way it was.

the advisor at excelsior suggested penn foster and gave me approval during that phone call.

they have changed their policy back to being able to take it alone.

Hi Cheltoe would you happen to have the number for Penn Foster?
