I am just about to start my first year of university in the USA in the process of getting my BSN. I want to move abroad and work in Europe (Italy) as an RN. How long should I expect to work as an RN in the USA before I could get a job over there? I am planning on taking Italian while in college and possibly studying abroad in Italy as well to become fluent in Italian. I am also thinking of becoming a nurse anesthetist. Would it be better to do that before I move overseas or could I get that degree while in Italy? Also, does anyone know how difficult it is to get a job in Europe as a nurse if you are American? Any suggestions are welcome!

Good luck to you.
There is an International Forum, where you should post this question. (Maybe Sue the nice moderator will move it there for you.)

Yeah, Tweety, aka "that other Bird", was right. I moved your post to the International Forum, where you can get more responses.
Good luck!
