I completed my Nursing associate degree in India. Now planning for BSN here in USA. I dont Feel any difference. Nursing its all the same Whereever u go. Only difference is the technology, u will learn as u go.

Do you want to elaborate on your education? As in how long does it take for general education, actual prerequisites, and the nursing program? Did you have a specialty? How are your clinical rotations done? How many patients did you have while you were in school etc? Where did you do your clinical rotations? Stuff like that.

i am an Indian nurse here in India there are different category of nursing programme we have A.N.M.[Auxillary nurse and midwives]G.N.M.[general nursing and midwifery] 3 year programme and B.SC. Nursing [degree course]4year programme.these all are basic nursing educational courses.we have one post basic B.SC. nursing programme[duration 2 yrs full time,3yrs part time]this programme has been formulated for G.N.M. PASSED nurses.we do have M.SC. nursing and P.hd.nursing programmes.for B.Sc nursing course one should pass 10+2 higher secondry school education and physics chemistry biology and english subjects are manedatory,one must have at least 50%marks in highersecondry school exams.regarding curicculum and clinical hours we all follow the standards set by Indian nursing council.for further detail explore on http://www.indiannursingcouncil.org
