Do you see an increase in angry, disruptive and explosive behavior ? I am seeing it across all ages/grades at my schools. Angry outbursts, throwing chairs, turning over tables and trashing classrooms. I am appalled at this behavior. What’s worse is Administration won’t expel the offenders. What are you school nurses seeing in your schools ?

I used to have a lot of behavioral issues as a young child (and my parents said I was the happiest baby when I was breast fed), long story short I’m allergic to MANY food additives and when I eat them in excess (depending on which one how much an excess is varies), I am in fight or flight mode all of the time. Was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, narcolepsy, ADHD, and ODD as a child. Now I’m symptom free.
Its the food
Interesting . . .
Or the world that SERVES the kids crap to eat. Parents are the worst. Schools are doing a better job than before because they've already accepted the link between diet and behavior. But the parents are putting the kiddo to bed with a bottle of milk or Coke, what other kinda of bad decisions are they making? I'm grateful eating away from home when the calories are on the menu; very helpful in making a smarter decision.
