Ok, first calm down and take a breath. : ) You say that your gpa isn't that good, but do you know what the gpa is of the other 30 applicants? Additionally, you said that you got a 282 and only needed a 230, so that is pretty good right. Finally, 14-17 out of 31 is 1/2 the people on the list. You do not have to be #1 to make the list; you only need to beat out 13-16 others.
I understand how you feel. The wait for acceptance, and the unknown is driving us all a little crazy. I have a 4.0 gpa and scored a 95% overall (with a 92R being the lowest score on a section) on the hesi, and I am still going crazy as to whether or not I will be one of the chosen into the program.
However, no matter what the outcome I wouldn't give up if I were you. Hard work and dedication will pay off! : ) Good luck! :):):)
Let us know when you get your acceptance letter. :)
Thank you!!!
I have really been going crazy over all this...and the PSB score doesn't really matter as long as you pass it that's what they look for. I really want this so bad and I know that eventually I'll get in it's just the matter of when:confused:.
But I will be sure to let you know if I'm accepted..Good luck to you as well:D
I think you'll be fine, you've put in a lot of hard work and it will pay off. Think positive, like the previous poster said you have no idea what the scores of the other applicants are. All that matters is that you put in the work and you recieved the scores necessary to get in. I know that waiting around sucks but once you get accepted then this anxiety will be behind you and you can move on with your future.
Well, let me start by saying this...you cant go in with a "defeatus" attitude! Think of this, my situation there are 326 applicants and they only accept 62! So....your odds of getting in are looking pretty awesome to me! You have to look at it from my prospective! If you think you wasted your time taking the other courses, maybe you should have taken the rn pr-reqs also! I think of it like this.... I started out just trying to get into lpn, then i thought to myself...why not go rn? Why am i not good enough for rn? Maybe if you dont get into lpn its meant for you to get in rn! :) hope this helps!! Good luck to you and please make sure you post if you got in or not!! :)

OK SO I'M AT THE END OF THE WINTER QUARTER. I FINALLY COMPLETED ALL REQUIRED CLASSES FOR THE LPN PROGRAM...THEN IT HITS ME THERE ARE 31 NAMES ON THE SELECTION LIST FOR SPRING QUARTER PROGRAM AND MY GPA JUST ISN'T WHERE IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE I HAVE A 3.09 I TOOK THE PSB SCORED A 282 ONLY NEEDED A 230..SO OUT OF THOSE 31 NAMES THAT'S ON THE LIST ONLY BETWEEN 14-17 WILL GET IN (I'M ONLY HOPING THAT NO MORE STUDENTS WILL SIGN UP) SO I FEEL AT THIS RATE IF I DON'T GET IN I'M JUST GOING TO FORGET ABOUT THE LPN AND JUST GO STRAIGHT FOR MY RN LICENSE.
I JUST FEEL LIKE I'VE WASTED PRACTICALLY A YEAR TAKING THESE CLASSES ONLY TO GIVE UP IF I DON'T GET ACCEPTED THE FIRST TIME AROUND...SHOULD I JUST WAIT AROUND FOR THE NEXT TIME IF I DON'T GET IN OR JUST MOVE ON TO SOMETHING ELSE I DON'T WANT TO MAKE THE WRONG DECISION BUT AT THE SAME TIME I DON'T WANT TO JUST SIT AROUND AND DO NOTHING...
PLEASE HELP..I'M GOING CRAZY OVER HERE:confused:
