Immunizations, and physical????--Galen

U.S.A. Kentucky

Hi everyone. I am new to this site. I got the letter from Galen saying I passed my CPaT test. Now I am waiting for them to receive my transcripts from my high school. I was wondering what do I do about my immunizations? I am 26 and can't remember when the last time I received any shot, except when I was pregnant. What do they do for the physical testing part? Also are they generally good about accepting people to their college?

Acceptance is basically "first come first serve". You will get a packet in the mail telling you whether or not you have been accepted. I didn't have to take an admissions test so I don't know how long it will take for you to get a letter about acceptance. For you immunizations they need to know if you have had the MMR (Measles, Mumps, Ruebella). Your Dr. may need to draw a titer to see if you are still immune. You also need to have had chicken pox or have the Varicella vaccine. They do not require you to have hep. b. vaccine but encourage it. You also will need 2 tb tests within 3 weeks. The physical is just basically a paper that your Dr. signs that says you are in general good health mentally and physically. It doesn't go into any sort of detail.

I just told you a lot of info, don't worry though. You will get a packet that explains everything when the time comes.

How was the CPA test? I'm 30 years young, and haven't taken the SAT since '94. Of course my scores don't count.

I don't know. I wasn't required to take it.
