Immigration attorney in Los Angeles

I need a good and reasonable immigration lawyer in the Los Angeles area. Is there any suggestion? I look at the directory, there are about over 100 of them and I'm not sure what the quality of their services are.

Check the AILA website for members (Association for immigration lawyers).

Hi! Does anybody from here help me how to background check an immigration lawyer if he/she is existing? Because I don't wanna fall into something that would cause me damage. Pls hepl me.Thanks..

I don't know what you want to check. You can check with the state if they are currently licensed, and you can check with AILA if they are a current member in good standing.

Thank you for responding. I want to check if the lawyer is license to do immigration service here. I've check on the AILA but their names are not in so I want to know if there is another way to do it? Is there a link to the state that you are saying? thanks
