I'm taking NCLEX (1st time) in 4 days

Hello! Here's my quick background.. I graduated BSN batch 2014 April in the Philippines. I took the board exam May 2014. I passed the exam.

I'm going to take NCLEX-RN this coming Tuesday December 8,2015. I feel so nervous and my anxiety now is high. I always read stuff here in AllNurses for me to know what other preparation did people used for them to passed.

I studied KAPLAN course, NCSBN qbank & Saunders qbank. These are my scores in KAPLAN qtrainer:

QTRAINER 1 - 57%

QTRAINER 2 - 60%

QTRAINER 3 - 55%

QTRAINER 4 - 52%

QTRAINER 5 - 57%

QTRAINER 6 - 53%

QTRAINER 7 - 52%

Am I on the right track? Because they say the passing score should be 65% above...in that case is there a possibility that I will fail?

But somehow I am a little bit excited to take my NCLEX because I really want to get this over. I'm so being positive that I will pass this exam. I hope that I'll pass this in just one take. And most especially I always PRAY because whatever the result is, it will always in God's will.

omg sorry to hear that :facepalm:. My best advice for you right now is to take some time off and wait for the holidays to be over and have a fresh start. Don't give up, pay attention to the report to see what are your weak areas and focus on them.

Yes i will. Goodluck to you on your exam! I really thought that i'm gonna pass because I finished all the 265 questions. And I'm asking myself "Why the computer will let me finish all the questions if I'm not doing good?" It was really so depressing. NCLEX is very unpredictable.

Holy moly! I echo your sentiments exactly. I took the NCLEX the same day as you did (December 8th) and like you, my exam ran through up to 265 questions . I did the Kaplan QBank with an average score of 65% and also the QTrainers scores high 50s to 60s. They say these are good "readiness" scores. I felt confident and prepared. Then when I did the real NCLEX, I felt totally unprepared. Like you, I felt all questions looked good and possible (i.e. risk for cancer - BMI 32? or 4 lean meat a week?). A few questions looked Kaplanish, but overall my opinion is that the test was way harder than Kaplan with weirdo, what-the-heck, tricky questions.

If anything, perhaps it's time to use UWorld for our next NCLEX attempt. :)

Is it also your 1st take? It's so depressing isn't?. It was really so difficult. Now, I'm still a little bit shock it's like I hope this is just a dream... but it is really happening..

Yes, it is my first take. I also graduated from the Philippines nursing school May 2014. After the crazy CGFNS process, (harrassing people at my school/CHED/CGFNS & NJ BON customer services) I finally got to take my NCLEX ATT December 8th. Same day as you. The failing feeling is truly terrible. :cry:

I take my test on 12/15/15 I feel more confident I've been using UWORLD, no disrespect to Kaplan but I failed twice with it, UWORLD rationales is very much understanding I feel ready now than before..........

Where did you study? So you are also a Filipino? By the way, what number did you stop?
