I'm taking NCLEX (1st time) in 4 days

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello! Here's my quick background.. I graduated BSN batch 2014 April in the Philippines. I took the board exam May 2014. I passed the exam.

I'm going to take NCLEX-RN this coming Tuesday December 8,2015. I feel so nervous and my anxiety now is high. I always read stuff here in AllNurses for me to know what other preparation did people used for them to passed.

I studied KAPLAN course, NCSBN qbank & Saunders qbank. These are my scores in KAPLAN qtrainer:

QTRAINER 1 - 57%

QTRAINER 2 - 60%

QTRAINER 3 - 55%

QTRAINER 4 - 52%

QTRAINER 5 - 57%

QTRAINER 6 - 53%

QTRAINER 7 - 52%

Am I on the right track? Because they say the passing score should be 65% above...in that case is there a possibility that I will fail?

But somehow I am a little bit excited to take my NCLEX because I really want to get this over. I'm so being positive that I will pass this exam. I hope that I'll pass this in just one take. And most especially I always PRAY because whatever the result is, it will always in God's will.

Thank you for reading this :)

Hi :) Im also Filipino, studying in the Phils. I will be graduating next year. I am originally from California but heard they're not accepting foreign grads due to some issues. anyway, Im planning on moving out of state possibly a compact state. what state would you recommend for me to take the nclex? and how was the cgfns processing? How long was the whole processing including the ATT? thanks! :)

Goodluck to you! :) For me, choose the state without English Proficiency requirements (IELTS/TOEFL). I'm not sure what are the states in licensure compact doesn't have that. You can search the requirements of each. My CGFNS took a months like for 2-3 months.

Which state did you applied to? Hope its ok to ask :) & GOOD LUCK! you'll pass this time for sure!!! I have some NCLEx reviewers I can send them to you if you want :)

This is my third attempt However I feel wayyyyyyyyy more confident thanks to UWORLD!

Hi! How did it go? Did UWORLD helped you passed? GOOD LUCK:)

I took my test and a lot of UWORLD was on it, I had 8 SATA and 2 Exhibits I stop at 75 questions I'm so nervous some answers I check I know I got wrong and it was some I had correct I must say I hate peds and maternity and guess what that was most of my test (that's why I'm scared) However I'm optimistic and will return if necessary with UWORLD by my side...........I will keep you posted as soon as I get my results.

Excuse littleangel28, can I ask you a few questions, for i too want to take the nclex in the philippines. im quite naive on requirements and stuff

Hi! I took my NCLEX here in USA. But for the requirements try to look in the website your State board of Nursing because every state they have different requirements for RN.

Hi veryone: I just took the NCLEX on 12/16/15 the first 10 questions I felt that were really simple anyways to make my story shorter I started to get anxious when the computer didn't shut off at 100 questions and guess what, I took all the 265.... Today I found out that I passed :D

I studied content and q bank questions just with Kaplan and for me it's the best. Good luck to you all

congratulations!enjoy the result!!

how did u prepared? Cause i also just studied content and q bank

Hi FlyAcrossOcean: Thank you!! Regarding your question, I reviewed kaplan books for content and then I bought Kaplan Qbank for 2 months which I think is the best tool. To be honest I felt that Kaplan was harder than NCLEX
