Hello! Here's my quick background.. I graduated BSN batch 2014 April in the Philippines. I took the board exam May 2014. I passed the exam.
I'm going to take NCLEX-RN this coming Tuesday December 8,2015. I feel so nervous and my anxiety now is high. I always read stuff here in AllNurses for me to know what other preparation did people used for them to passed.
I studied KAPLAN course, NCSBN qbank & Saunders qbank. These are my scores in KAPLAN qtrainer:
QTRAINER 1 - 57%
QTRAINER 2 - 60%
QTRAINER 3 - 55%
QTRAINER 4 - 52%
QTRAINER 5 - 57%
QTRAINER 6 - 53%
QTRAINER 7 - 52%
Am I on the right track? Because they say the passing score should be 65% above...in that case is there a possibility that I will fail?
But somehow I am a little bit excited to take my NCLEX because I really want to get this over. I'm so being positive that I will pass this exam. I hope that I'll pass this in just one take. And most especially I always PRAY because whatever the result is, it will always in God's will.
I take my test on 12/15/15 I feel more confident I've been using UWORLD, no disrespect to Kaplan but I failed twice with it, UWORLD rationales is very much understanding I feel ready now than before..........
Yeah some post of the other people they like UWORLD than KAPLAN because of the rationale. Did you pass? What number did you stop?
I used Kaplan for the first and NCBSN for the second along with Kaplan and I walked in feeling a little better than the first however my results was worst and now after doing UWORLD I see my pattern of mistakes I was using from that decision tree stuff... UWORLD rationales are the best It will help you I promise you just keep in mind NCLEX wants to know you are a safe nurse not a know it all. Infection control is your highest thing you need to know and delegation/priority....that was on both of my test
Hi :) Im also Filipino, studying in the Phils. I will be graduating next year. I am originally from California but heard they're not accepting foreign grads due to some issues. anyway, Im planning on moving out of state possibly a compact state. what state would you recommend for me to take the nclex? and how was the cgfns processing? How long was the whole processing including the ATT? thanks! :)

Did you already pass? Thank you! I'm thinking of using KAPLAN together with UWORLD for this 2nd take.
