I am a student at Mildred Elley NYC campus I'm so disappointed, I took the teas v exam, and, I didn't pass now the school wants me to take MA classes . I don't want to be a medical assistant I want to be a nurse. Mildred Elley told me that I was taking the teas 1 week before the test was due to me taken . giving me no time to study

Two important points here. . .
First of all, nursing education programs have strict requirements for admission in order to ensure that students are capable of the work that will be required. They don't make any allowances for individual tales of woe or excuses. If you didn't meet the admission criteria, you won't be admitted. This is normal.
Secondly, this is a for-profit school. It's important to understand their business model. Their reason for existence is to make a profit for their investors. Rather than lose your tuition payments, they are trying to 'sell' you on another program of study. Don't let them use high pressure sales tactics to sucker you into something you don't want. Since it appears that you are going to experience a delay to study & re-take your TEAS, you may also want to use this time to investigate your options at traditional (Not for Profit) schools.
