I'm a Nurse..HELP!!

Hi..greetings to everybody..i'm a nurse working here in the Philippines and i am now waiting for the interview appointment at the US embassy..i'm soo excited about the news from the NVC...pls.pls..HELP.

what sort of help do you need?

what news from the NVC are you refering to?

were you told that your case has been approved?

i just wanna know how long am i going to wait to be notified by the NVC to have an appointment for an interview at the embassy?..am i going to wait that long?

Case closed last Nov. 8, 2004 and NVC advised me to wait for their notification. I'm so happy that I have been scheduled for the March interview in US Embassy Manila. So, I guess it will take at least 3-4 moths but it also depends with the NVC. Hope this helps.

I only knew last Feb. 9, 2006 that I am included on the March list for the interview in US Embassy Manila. Anyway, goodluck. Hope you will be on the April list. Try to follow-up your status to NVC every 6th of the month. They already know who are those listed for the interview. God Bless you too!

it's clear now.

it ranges anywhere between 5 and 16 weeks. this is based on what i have observed around here. you may want to check out the NVC tracker thread in the international forum. it has helped me a lot in anticipating the timings of the whole process. here's the link: https://allnurses.com/forums/f75/nvc-cp-gc-tracker-112714.html

ours is a case in point: our case was approved oct. 25, 2005. we were notified (and verified through the US embassy in manila interview schedule) this week that we are included in the march list. that's a full 3.5 months of waiting.

yeah, now at least we're scheduled for the interview.

it's the medical and the actual interview that we need to hurdle.

we're in the process of taking care of loose ends (minor requirements like police clearance), but otherwise the biggies have been settled by the wifey long before (ie nclex, visascreen).
