I start monday the 28 as a Nurse Intern 1 on our Med/Surg unit! I've been laboring the last 6 years as a phlebotomist in our lab, but now I'm FREE!!! :balloons: I know it sounds silly but I am so excited to be able to finally put to use what I am learning on a daily basis!
Thanks for letting me spread the joy :rotfl:

Not silly at all! I'd be excited too! I wish I had the time to get a job in a hospital right now, but with my schedule, family and my husbands crazy schedule (engineer, Army National Guard, and student) I have really no way of scheduling time to work. Congratulations!!

I was a phlebotomist, too, before I became a nurse extern. I have to admit though, sometimes I miss being a vampire! But, you'll learn alot of skills and knowledge this way that you don't even get in clinical. Yay for you!:roll
