hi, is anyone here really like me, or has an idea about my case?
i came into MN recently with an immigrant visa, and as a foreign student, i have sent my credentials to CGFNS for evaluation to be sent to MN state board of nursing, but its like its going to take a while b4 i write nclex here about March, can i have the permission to work as a nurse without being licensed here, i mean i dont feel comfortable staying at home till........

Some states will allow new grads to work with permits while they are waiting to sit the NCLEX, but not all. Check with the BON.

You can not work in the US as a nurse until you have passed NCLEX. I do not think you will qualify to work as a new grad whilst you are waiting but you would need to check with the state BON to be sure
