hello! i just want to know... when you re-apply for nclex exam - do they give you a new eligibility period? how long is the period? say, my initial eligibility is good for 1 year and will be expiring dec2008, if ever i fail my exam, i'll be taking it this nov.2008, does it mean i have to start the application process all over again? thanks and good luck to everybody who'll be taking their nclex exam.

You only get one attempt at the exam per the one ATT. It expires when you write the exam. If you do not pass, then you start the process over again and will need to re-apply to the BON as well as pay the fees to them and the fee to Pearson-Vue.
Everything is gone when you write the exam, everything is cancelled out on that account if you do not pass.
