Hello. Everyone, I am currently living in Texas and have taken all my pre-reqs for Nursing. But I will be moving to Chicago in September and I would like to know which schools you guys recommended me looking to start nursing. I'm new to Chicago and to be honest I'm scare and nervous, since I will be new to the city. Thanks in advance.

I know this thread is a little dated, but how is everything going in Chicago? I am moving up when I graduate and would like to know how your experience has been. Did you have an IL RN license first or did you apply for endorsement? I am taking my NCLEX in KS in May, and will have to apply for endorsement then. I would really appreciate any advice and an update to your journey.

    Thank You!

I belive you are considered a 'new grad nurse' until you've worked as a RN anywhere. I know that doesn't help much but it does leave you with time? Good luck
