Hello everyone, I just had a quick question about the Section 60-10 (b-5) of the Illinois Nurse Practice Act. As per the rule, an applicant that have not passed the board within 3 years after the initial filing of the application, have to go through an additional 2 years of nursing education prior to submitting an addition application for the licensure exam. Could this additional education be some form of a continuing education online, or do we have to go through the traditional classroom setting? Any ideas or experiences will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have a question--what are the reason why nclex-RN applicants need to go to school or take refresher course?
Is it if your application has been expired for 3years?
Or if you took nclex-RN three times and failed?
Thanks.
