Failed out NP 2 times, barely passing for each course....should I even attempt to apply for a DPT after I graduate with my BS in biology or should I try a MPH/MHA program? idk what to do at this point

I was thinking OT school as another healthcare profession too. I really won't decide until I shadow either or, but i appreciate all the honest feedback btw! Just in the process of figuring things out for the future.

You really need to have a clear idea of where you want to go. Your writing sounds like you are on the younger end of the scale for applicants for programs.

Do you want to be a nurse? Do you want to be a NP? Do you want to be an OT or a PT? If you're heart isn't set on it, I wouldn't attempt any program. The last thing you want to be is unhappy for the next few years. Shadow a few people. Until you decide, I would recommend taking a step back and to analyze what you really want to do.

Just to clarify, the OP is using "NP" as an abbreviation for 'nursing program' not nurse practitioner. He/she does not yet have a bachelor's degree, but is on the way to completing a degree in biology (using the pre-requisites from the nursing program he/she is withdrawing from.)

1) How I type on the internet necessarily doesn't reflect my ability to perform in a classroom setting. If you judge someone's intelligence by how they type on the internet, you're more than likely less intelligent than they are. Some people on this website do this and it's rather pathetic, sad, ridiculous, ignorant, you name it!

2) I used NP to abbreviate nursing program, not nurse practitioner.

Have a good day! :)

I used NP to abbreviate 'nursing program' not 'nurse practitioner.'

Youre right. Some people are just so rude on this site. Remember, If you dont have anything nice to say, dont say it at all.

OT PT programs are quite competitive. Have you spoken to or shadowing either? You live, breathe, eat, sleep that program. It is intense and costly. The jobs are competitive. And you may have to go on to get your doctorate, are you ready for that?

Why did you want to be a nurse? Why do you want to be an OT/PT? You may want to sit down with your advisor and chat.
