identifications...

im preparing to take the nclex this yr...and as i read these threads...especially from those who have taken the test, from those who passed and those who failed....well,it gives me chills...overwhelming!!!(butterfly in my guts..)

anyway,my question is what other id can be presented when i'll take the test?

i got married last yr,and i had my passport a yr before that.

most of my ids still bears my maiden name. will they accept these?

thank you..

Your ID needs to match the name on the approval to test. So if you attend school with one name, but have IDs in another, you'll not be able to test.

I highly recommend you start changing your ID's now - your drivers license will only require a trip to the DMV, a copy of your marriage license, and you'll have a new license with the correct name in no time.

If I remember correctly, I took the test with my passport, drivers license, and my ATT. You will need to bring 2 forms of ID, one of which must have your picture on it. The signatures must match on both and be in the same name.

The ATT form and ID's must match or you will not be allowed to take the test.

So, you can do drivers license and passport, drivers license and social security card or Social security card and passport. You do have a few options.

Good luck!
