Hi, I am an italian nurse Gigi I want sign my new intensive care site
http://www.terapia-intensiva.it
Thank you
these are written by "the founder of Mad Scientist, Dr. Bruce Argyle, MD is an experienced physician and is currently Chief of Emergency Medicine at Cottonwood Hospital Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, recently serving as President of the Utah Chapter."
they are concise, easy to understand and well written. he has cd's available for individual health care providers as well as group rates for hospitals or schools. i'm really impressed by the text. if i had the money, i would get the cd's, because i personally learn better by doing rather than reading, but it's pretty easy to absorb these texts.
The Louisiana Attorney General has accused two RN's and an MD of committing murder of patients in Memorial Hospital after Katrina struck.
I spent 5 days in a New Orleans hospital after katrina, and he did not do a single thing to help anyone anywhere after katrina. The conditions were horrible, and the "evidence" being flouted by him to smear their characters would make a first semester nursing student laugh, if it were not so tragic.
These nurses heroically stayed on the job when the rest of the world abandoned them.
The ball is in the New Orleans District Attorney, Eddie Jordan's hands. At this point the best way to help is to contact him and encourage him to drop the matter and not proceed further with prosecution.
I know a friend from Memorial who knows these two nurses. Imagine the best and most dedicated icu nurses you know, and these two women are those.

Thanks for the site. My granddaughter is going to study in Italy this fall (art history), so I am trying to learn a little Italian. I only know a few words, but your site will be a place for me to both read Italian, and learn what you all are doing in ICU in Italy.
Thanks again! Merimo
Hi, everyone!
Thank you for sharing so freely such great links.
I am sending here some nursing links for francophiles. Please, add more if you have any. They are pretty difficult to find and somehow some are less user friendly and interesting than the american ones.
Any francophones out there? May be we should start a tread (if we ever get enough participants!), that could be interesting.:studyowl:

This is my first posting on this thread - I just graduated as an RN (still need to take the boards!) and have been hired in the CSICU. I have to admit - I am scared sh**less!! There is so much to learn, and I am thankful that orientation is 6 months long with LOTS of instruction to go along! I'm really going to utilize the websites - thank you all so much!! Lori
