Iam wondering how many classes you all took each semester and if you worked how many hours a week. Thanks for advice.

Are you talking about pre-reqs? I took 12 credits a semester, and worked fulltime, but my classes were online so I could work at night. Once my "in person" classes start, I'll quite work or maybe work 2 days a week or something.
Welcome!
Yes I take them starting fall. Iam trying to juggle it where I dont over do it each semester. It will be on campus.
I just want to make sure I get done in a timely manner. Thanks!
I just want to get them done in a timely manner.
12 credits is a full load, 16 is the absolute max I would suggest, and that's really pushing it...12 is much better. That will keep you busy, believe me! I did 16 one semester because I was desperate to get more done, and it almost killed me. Try and spread your classes a little too - for example, don't take all science if possible because it is very demanding and you'll probably get overwhelmed. But of course, it's up to you. I'm currently on my final 3 pre-reqs, so I have no option on class mixture; I'm taking all sciences, and it's very intense!!! Learn from my error!
You could also pick up extra classes at summer school, or maybe do extra online during summer just to try and get done with pre-reqs. Generally, if you stick at it and take 12 credits a semester, you should be done with pre-reqs within 2 years.
Awesome thanks.
When I was taking my prerequisites, I took 1 science class such as anatomy, with 3 other easy classes, such as English or psychology. I thought this was a good way to get them out of the way.
I agree! That was my point too......too many sciences at once can just fry the mind! I'm currently taking Microbiology, Pathophysiology and Chemistry.
It's not pretty!

I work 40+ hours a week. I take one science course a semester along with another pre-requisite that isn't science like; English, Ethics or Psychology. So, two classes a semester works best for me. Also, recognize that the sciences classes are like taking two courses because you will have a lecture and a lab.
It truly depends on what all you have going on. If your not working full time you can do more. Just make sure not to overload yourself.
Good luck!:)

In our pre nursing classes we needed really high GPA to even be a candidate for our nursing program! I worked 3 12 hour shifts. Before the baby i took 3-4 classes the fourth class was always an easy class that was not towards the requred classes. For example, A&P, Lab, Math, + fast computer req course. OR Micro, lab, Comp1, World religions. Or A&P two, Lab, comp2, and humanities. I did this because if i needed to push work back for one of those classes i would choose to take the hit in the classes that were not towards nursing pre requisites. I overall ended up with a 3.76 but i could have had a 4.0......I had a baby. lol so i chose to spend time with him and push some studying aside.
