for those of you who know me, by way of cybernet, you all know the problems with ec/ga and that whole mess.
well i am so ready to go back to school, but not looking forward to sitting in a class room. type a personality and really don't do well in a class room where people ask the same flipping questions all the time, don't want to do their part, want others to do it for them. you guys know what i am talking about!!
i got a cardiac check-up today along with a kidney check-up and was told that i had things under control and could return to school part time. but not to over do it, right!!
well thing is, i don't want to have to start all over again. i had all of ec done except nursing test 6 & 7 plus a&p along with micro. well called the local cc's today actually 3 of them in a 30 mile range, and each and every one of them will not accept any of the ec test.
so, if i want to return, have to take several classes and be put on a wating list. i am so mad at gbon:banghead:.
i have a great job, a private duty nurse for an 8week old little girl. i work mon-fri 0800-1700. the job is not demanding at all.
i just want to become a rn, but not so sure if i really really want to start from scratch, you guys know what i mean.
anyways, just needed to vent and get this off my chest.
thanks a million for always listening!!

Hobbit, honey, I am NOT one to dissuade anyone from going to school.
That said, a few weeks ago you were so stressed that your brains were about to shoot out of your nose. The only thing that has changed is that you have STOPPED stressing about school.
Hang out for a bit and see what GA comes up with. The meetings are this month.
RELAX and take care of yourself. The world will NOT end if you don't become an RN in the next 20 minutes.
Wait and see what shakes out with the BON. I have a feeling that EC will somehow get at least those already in the program through.
Relax. Really. Keep lurking and reading and, if you want, start studying for the next exam. Just don't pay for it yet.
Knowledge is never a waste. But stressing yourself out right now IS overdoing it. Don't.

I agree with Sue. Take it easy and see what happens. Your health is more important.

Pray for the best at the meeting. I have my fingers crossed for the GA ECers!
