I took my exam on wednesday. Im still waiting for the result. Is there any way to get unofficial result? My exam stopped at 199. I am hopeful, but worried because I felt really bad after the test. Please ... can anyone help me. I am a nervous wreck. I can't concentrate. I've been reading a lot of the postings and I think its really helpful. Thanks to anyone who will answer me.

I took my board june 21 and called the state board where i live on june 22 it was an automated system that gave an employer look up option and i entered my naem or ss# i cant remember which but it told me that i had a license issued that morning good luck

hey hopeful... like i said before.. we're in the same boat.. im feeling just as depressed as you if not more.. this whole "nursing process" has been an obstacle... i hate it.. i still havent opened my books to study.. i dont know how to this 2nd time around yaknow? i guess that means that i'm not ready to start studying.. atleast that what i was told.. my mind and body will let me know when i should start up again. this time im not gonna do this hard core 2 mos preparing bc it didnt work for me.. imma try to cram 2-3 wks prior to setting my date and then cram again the day and morning b4.. atleaast thats what i did in school and it worked! goodluck to us and lets keep our heads up together!

Still waiting for my results. Its going on 3 weeks. Well have not checked my box in a couple of days so who knows if its in there or not. I sure do hope so. If not the waiting continues. Im still praying.... for gooooood news. I took mine again on the 23rd for PN.

imhopeful and alf88, I am so sorry. Like the others said, take a break and relax. Then when you're ready, go for it. It is definitely worth it...

I took Hurst Review.. and they were just fabulous. Really helped me prepare and study for the test. I highly recommend them.

Dear Imhopeful,

Don't feel dumb....and definitely don't be humilated. Not passing the first time doesn't mean you'll be an awful nurse. I am in the situation as you, except I haven't received the dreaded white envelope from BON.

I know that I will be a terrific nurse. I know that I care about people. I did very well in clinicals and my teachers have commended me for showing compassion to the patients. When I think of these and what I am capable of doing, I feel better.

Let us rise up and beat this disappointment. If you let it get to your deeply, you might have a problem getting back to the mode of studying.

We are not stupid. You need to keep a positive outlook from here on. Promise not to put yourself down. It happened for a reason....and I believe in better things coming our way.
