I took my NCLEX today

...and im sooooo sad I did the Pearson Vue trick and it let me reregister, I couldnt stop crying. The test was so hard to me, nothing like what I was studying for. I got 75 questions and then it shut off. I used the Mobsy NCLEX -RN examination book, I did the whole book and I guess it didnt seem to help. It hurts bc I had a job lined up for after I passed, I guess thats not happening. So I need to know what are good books or CDs anything that will help me pass next time please.

Hi. I used Mosby's the first time around as well. I read the whole book and answered in the cd-rom that came with the book. Unfortunately, I didn't pass. A friend told me Mosby's was a lot like Saunders. Great review books those two but they don't teach much about strategies and have easy questions. Kaplan helped me a lot especially their qbank. I thought their questions were sooo hard. It over prepared me and I am an RN right now :)

Do not give up, change your review materials. Keep your Mosby for reference, but if you want better core content I suggest you get an additional Saunders book. Try Kaplan..

LOL! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

I know I should've never believed that Crazy PVT!!!

I tested 2/7, ended up with 76 questions, did the PVT and went straight to the credit card page (meaning that I failed according to everybody)..and i kept doing it for 2 days straight, same result...BUT now that 48 hours went by, I got my results...to my surprise...I PASSED! :)

Now this is a miracle (that I had been waiting for)

PVT IS UNRELIABLE! I got the cc page and passed!!!

OMG i just got my results and I PASSED, the PVT was not accurate I can not believe it, for a whole day I thought I had failed do not rely on the PVT . Im so happy, Im officially an RN :nurse:

Congratulations!! PVT doesnt always work!!! We are RNs now!

i took 76 questions, got the cc on the pvt... i live in california... i'm hoping and praying i get the same luck as you and me2006.
