I took my NCLEX-RN on friday at 9am--still don't know!!!!

Darn Virginia. They don't do the Quick Results through Pearson Vue, so I don't know. The Virginia Board of Nursing has an automated thing, when you call them, you can type in your SSN and see ify ou have a license. Of course, its not been updated over the holiday weekend. Neither has the online license lookup.

:angryfire I am so frustrated! I guess I'll wait til tomorrow, but I'm working 7a-3p so I don't know if I'll have time to check while at work.

I'm sorry about your state not having quick results Rose. I know how hard it was for me to wait even two days to find out. I hope your BON posts the good news ASAP!!! :) I will be crossing my fingers for you!!! Hang in there!

Don't worry...my results were not on the phone line for 10 days and didn't show up on the computer for 14. Everyone else around me was getting results in 1-2 days and I didn't know anything...it was very frustrating but I passed! Hang in there.

I called. Apparently, if your BON doesn't do the Quick Results thing on the website, they don't do it on the phone either. Wonder if i just paid the fee to hear that?

--I so sympathize! I'm in exactly the same boat. NH doesn't do quick results. Normally, your license # is posted on the BON website by 7am of the business day after the test--which should have been this am--and still nothing! The wait is killing me.

I'm in NC, and took my NCLEX on a Friday. NC also doesn't participate in quick results, and they do batch updates every tuesday and friday- but, as that's a manual process, there's a lag. I didn't get my results until the following Thursday, which caused my start date to be delayed by 2 weeks! :o So I know what you're going through...the good thing is you're able to work as a GN right now, which we don't have the option of doing at my hospital.

it might be worth doing some investigating on your BON website to see how often the license info is updated, and how it's done. With the NCBON, I had pretty good results if I emailed them with questions; my guess is that it's easier to shoot a reply off when you get a message in your inbox than it is to answer a million phone calls with the same question.
