I took the test last July 6 2012 at 1pm. I wasn't nervous at all because I did all the studying by myself, bought books that my friend recommended me, and spent all my time studying and answering questions. Anyway, my computer stops at 145 and I never felt nervous after. I drove home, relaxed, went out with my friends and had fun. I was skeptical about the PVT trick becuase I don't want to stress myself, and i just decided to wait for the mail to come. Until after several days and my mom couldn't wait any longer. So, I did the trick, been praying a lot when I was doing it and I GOT THE POP UP! I felt so relieved and happy! Now, I'm just waiting for my license in the mail!
I bought Exam Cram NCLEX-PN, and NCLEX-PN Exam Prep, both are written by Wilda Rinehart. Read the Book and use the CD that comes with it. It's very helpful (for me) and I think it will be helpful for you. The latter is the latest one so I recommend the cd that comes with it. Get use of the questions.
Don't forget you ABC's, medications, and priorities. Seriously!

Goodluck!!!!! I take my test for the second time next month. I just wanted to no what Saunders book are you using??? Is it the big green book?
I've been wanting to have that NCLEX 3000 PN. And I don't know where to find it. Saunders is very helpful but so much detail. I used the cd that comes with it and it really helps, but its outdated already, that's why I bought Exam Prep, that's tha latest one, and the questions in that book are more accurate, although tricky, but when you get use to it, it will be easy.
It's the big green book. I think that's their latest one. I have that still and started reading it right after I graduated from Nursing School 2 years ago. I recommend Saunders still, but try to get another one, I recommend Exam Prep. Read the book. It's summarized, but its still detail. It will teach you on how to memorize or understand medications. Believe me, my weakness is Pharmacology, and that book helped me.
Before you take the test: relax for days before the test, have fun, and meet with your friends.
Good luck!

There is new 5th edition saundars released 06/01/12 $49.99 cost.
Yes, Keishar, its the big Green book. Its not the latest book that came out in June, but almost all of my friends just used it to study for (and pass) NCLEX. We graduated end of April and everyone ran out and bought the 4th edition.
