So today I took the HOAE and felt so prepared for it as I have been studying for it for the past month. I started with the hardest section Academic Aptitude. It was 75 questions in a span of 40 minutes. I found myself stalling too long at the questions I wasn't sure about. Then I got nervous because I was seeing the timer going on the top right corner of my screen. I got this brain fog and then I ran out of time before I could answer all the questions! I don't even know which question I was on. This feels like a nightmare because I have been working so hard towards this. I also had a hard time with the Natural Sciences even though I didn't run out of time for that. But I feel I did well with the Reading, Spelling, Vocational parts. I hope I will have an okay average and that it will be enough to pass!
Anyway, I applied to college already with hopes of getting accepted as I have done very well on my prerequisites. (Math 84%, Biology 75%, Chemistry 81% and English 90%.)
Can anyone else relate to me regarding the HOAE? Do you know someone who got accepted even though they did poorly on the HOAE? I appreciate any feedback. :)

While I was there the instructor explained the BLS certification is only required in 2nd year rpn -even though the Conestoga site states it as an admission requirement- and that I will likely need to get standard cpr certified before January. Either way, it was a great experience and I was able to get some hands on training. I was able to find the St.Johns reference guide book at a used book store for cheap and studied through it extensively before the course and this helped me have more confidence in the learning environment.
That's great news! thanks for the clarification and additional information. Sounds like a great head-start into the program.

I think we both will be accepted ? I hope so at least it would be nice to know someone going into our first days. Yes Conestoga is first choice then Mohawk but I think I'd rather do pre health at conostoga then reapply to either Fanshawe or Conestoga in the fall rather than go to Mohawk. I don't like traffic.
message me if you need textbooks, I finish prehealth at conestoga next week
